HOW TO TRANSLATE THE WEB PAGE TO ANOTHER LANGUAGE

All CUSD web pages can be translated into Spanish or any language one desires. To translate the CHS websites follow these steps:

  1. Scroll down the page
  2. Click Select Language then select the language you prefer
  3. The web page will be automatically translated to the preferred Language

CHS Produce Box Distribution

Plus box is designed to increase the capacity of public and community support programs and maximize impact by meeting children and their families where they are; at school.  Each +Box Includes: Fresh Produce enough for up to four servings. 

Contact Community Liaison Ms. Torres. Boxes are available on distribution dates after 11am until 3:30pm.  First come first serve basis.

Distribucion de Alimentos en CHS

Plus Box está diseñado para aumentar la capacidad de los programas de apoyo público y comunitario y maximizar el impacto al conocer a los niños y sus familias donde se encuentran; en la escuela. La caja +BOX incluye alimento suficiente para cuatro raciones.

    MiraCosta College offers a wide variety of tuition-free noncredit courses at the Community Learning Center in Oceanside and at several locations throughout Oceanside and Carlsbad.   • The Carlsbad City Library offers many programs for families and students.  The calendar of events link above is a good place to start to learn what the library offers.  Take advantage of the events available with your family.

  • Get your Youth Bus pass by downloading the Pronto App in your play store.  Create an account then click on the link above to convert your pass into a youth pass that allows you to ride the bus, coaster, sprinter and trolley for FREE.

Leticia Torres, your school’s Bilingual Community Liaison. Interacts with the local community on behalf of your school.  Some activities include, participation in On Campus acitvities such as Back to School night, CTE Showcase, Financial Aide Night, PTSA Insights and many others.  Attending community meetings such as the Youth Enrichment Services (YES) meeting, and CUSD Parent University.  We partner with the City of Carlsbad Library Community Learning Center to hold parent activities.  Leticia asissts in interpreting for parents or students and encourage parents to attend and learn about the students school programs such as Parent Square, Aeries, Google Classroom, Naviance and much more.  

Leticia looks forward to assisting families throughout the school year.

Leticia Torres Enlace Comunitario Bilingue es su escuela.  Interactúa con la comunidad local en nombre de la escuela.  Algunas actividades incluyen participar en actividades en el campus como la noche de regreso a clases, la presetación de CTE, la noche de ayuda Financiera, PTSA Insights y mucho mas.  Ademas asistir a reuniones comuntarias com junta de Youth Enrichment Services YES, CUSD Parent University.  Nos asociamos con el Centro de Apredizaje Comunitario de la Biblioteca de Carlsbad para realizar actividades para padres y estudiantes.  Tambien apoya en interpretacion para padres y estudiantes como Parent Squiare, Portal de Aeries, Google Classroom y Naviance.

Leticia espero ayudar a las familias durante todo el año escolar.
