  • PFLAG: Provides confidential support, education & advocacy to LGBTQ+ individuals, their families, friends & allies. PFLAG has been saving lives, strengthening families, changing hearts, minds and laws since 1972.   • Gay & Lesbian Student Education Network (GLSEN): Founded in 1990, GLSEN is a national organization focused on ensuring safe and affirming schools for LGBTQ+ students.   • TransFamily Support Services: Guides transgender/non-binary youth and their families through the gender transitioning process.  They provide family coaching, assistance with healthcare and insurance issues, help navigating the legal system and support at schools. Kathie Moehlig, Executive Director/Founder: kathie@transfamilysos.org
  • Lambda Archives SD: Collects, teaches and preserves LGBTQ+  history for San Diego County. Lambda Archives Collections are alive with constant usage for the purposes of educating and empowering the local community and providing sources for researchers.  Lambda is responsible for putting together the first LGBTQ+  history exhibit for the San Diego History Center in Balboa Park; it runs through 01/20/20.   • Human Rights Campaign: HRC advocates for LGBTQ equality and educates the public about LGBTQ issues. HRC is the largest national LGBTQ civil rights organization working to achieve LGBTQ equality.
  • Mental Health America of San Diego (MHASD): No matter what your situation is, there is help available. Provides information about how to handle a mental health crisis, trained counselors can help with your specific situation.  MHASSD provides training courses to improve mental health competency and literacy.

  • TREVOR Project: The leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ young people under 25. Phone: (866) 488-7386 
  • Vista Community Clinic: CHATncsd is a sexual health and substance use prevention program that works specifically with youth in non-traditional school settings. Their services include facilitating educational workshops, utilizing the Community PROMISE intervention and providing capacity building trainings.   • GSA Clubs: Student-run organizations supported by a teacher advisor.  GSA clubs unite LGBTQ+  and allied youth to build community and organize around issues impacting them in their schools and communities.
